Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust

Talking about classic series, even the one featuring the hapless playboy Larry Laffer has been remade on recent systems. The protagonist of Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is Larry Lovage, nephew of the original Larry Laffer with the same itches as his uncle and the same incapability to deal with women. A title with a problematic production, LSL: BOB has been developed by Team 17 and published by Codemasters on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and smartphones. The new Leisure Suit should have been such that even Al Lowe, the series’ creator, would have enjoyed playing it. It seems however that the results are very different than the initial intents, and the critics have smashed the game referring to repetitive gameplay, lack of ideas, technical anomalies and above all to not much laughs.
